The Wyoming Business Council creates new opportunities for current and future generations of Wyomingites by adding value to Wyoming’s core industries and leveraging them to activate new economic sectors. Regional Directors

Currently we are looking for Regional Directors to join us on this journey. As a Regional Director for the Wyoming Business Council, you will get to:

Serve as the primary contact and liaison between the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) and local communities. You will provide business lead development, retention and expansion services, promote WBC programs and provide business and community development consultation services. As a Regional Director for WBC, you will be known in your area as a reliable and professional resource for any economic development needs.

A successful Regional Director will be enthusiastic and dedicated to creating new opportunities for current and future generations of Wyomingites. To be considered, applicants must be resilient, creative, and ambitious leaders. Must be gifted at building and promoting trust among business leaders and community stakeholders toward strengthening future opportunities within the region and Wyoming. The work of the Regional Director will involve various workgroups, audiences, business and community professionals, and elected officials – working cooperatively with these groups is critical as is the ability to transition among projects of varying scale and exercising appropriate judgment and decision-making skills over complex matters. Outside of formal experience, it is important for the Regional Director to be creative, versatile, and willing to take on big challenges.

We currently have two regions available. Candidates do not have to live within the specific area, but must be able to provide focused coverage within their assigned region.

Northwest Region: Services Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park, and Washakie counties.
Southwest Region: Services Sweetwater, Lincoln, and Uinta counties.
